Wintergreen oil has a very fresh, sweet, minty, and spicy aroma similar to Sweet Birch. This particular Wintergreen oil has been Carbon-14 isotope tested to ensure a 100% natural oil. The natural constituent, methyl salicylate, is said to have soothing and renewing properties. This refreshing oil blends well with mint and citrus oils, and it's the perfect ingredient for massage blends, relaxing aromatherapy, lotions, and oral hygiene products.
Solubility & Blending Suggestions:
Dilute well and add drop by drop to your blends until the desired effect is achieved.Soluble in fixed (carrier) oils and alcohol."Wintergreen oil is useful in perfumery where traces of this powerful odorant can add natural notes to ylang ylang, tuberose, narcissus, lily, gardenia, etc.; it is used frequently in fougères and other forest notes."*
